Music Director Donato Cabrera interviews Las Vegas based composer, Michael Torke.
Torke’s music has been called “some of the most optimistic, joyful and thoroughly uplifting music to appear in recent years” (Gramophone). A master orchestrator and inventive composer, Torke has created a substantial body of works in virtually every genre. His works Ash and Sylvan were performed by the Las Vegas Philharmonic during the orchestra’s 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, respectively.
