Kimberley is a dedicated arts administrator and accomplished cellist, recently appointed as the Major Gifts Officer for the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Born and raised in California, Kimberley began playing the cello in the Monterey Bay region, where she actively participated in classical music competitions, regional and youth orchestras, as well as private music lessons.

Kimberley has gained valuable experience working with orchestras as a Program Manager Assistant with Youth Music Monterey, and as a substitute music teacher for a K-8 private school in the Monterey Bay area. She has also provided private cello instruction at Long & McQuade Music and has held various positions within nonprofit arts organizations. For the past 12 years, she has performed in classical and pops events throughout the Monterey Bay, San Francisco Bay, Vancouver, BC, and Midwest regions.

Pursuing higher education, Kimberley studied cello performance at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, earning a Bachelor of Music. She then commenced graduate studies in cello performance at the Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana, before transitioning to the Master of Arts Administration program. During her graduate studies, Kimberley was an active participant in Jacobs School of Music chamber music courses and achieved success with her quintet, reaching the final round of a national chamber music competition in Atlanta, GA, in March of 2024. In May 2024, she graduated with a Master of Arts Administration degree.

In addition to her role as an arts administrator, Kimberley remains an active musician with a deep passion for nonprofit development and building meaningful relationships. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her beloved Labrador-Spaniel mix, Abba, and exploring the great outdoors.
