Taylor Crawford is an active performer, educator, and scholar in the Southern Nevada community. After completing her Masters at Kansas State University, Taylor moved to Las Vegas in 2021 to pursue an Artist Diploma in Oboe Performance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During this time, she joined the Las Vegas Philharmonic team as part of the UNLV-LVP intern partnership. Following graduation in 2023, Taylor joined the staff and began her role as Orchestra Personnel Manager in 2024.

When she’s not wrangling musicians, Taylor teaches oboe at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and Bishop Gorman High School, and she maintains a full studio of private piano and oboe students. She performs regularly with various orchestral groups throughout Southern Nevada, including Henderson Symphony Orchestra, Desert Winds, and David Perrico’s Pop Symphony. Additionally, Taylor is a founding member of the flute-oboe Black Fire Duo and Ocotillo Wind Quintet. Despite a full schedule, she still finds time to read at home with her cat and to explore all the outdoor activities the surrounding desert has to offer.
