Would Beethoven have appreciated the music of Coldplay? Composer and conductor, Steve Hackman explores this notion by fusing classical and pop elements in his symphonic mash-up of Beethoven’s 3rd Symphony (‘Eroica’) and some of Coldplay’s best-known songs, including “Fix You,” “Paradise,” and “The Scientist.” Vocalists will join the Las Vegas Philharmonic for this genre-defying performance.

Coldplay is a British rock band, formed by vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion in 1996. They achieved worldwide fame in 2000 with their hit song, “Yellow.” They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time.

Note: Coldplay will not be performing in this concert.
